I’m a bit ashamed to say that I dated a man who actually tried this. Two things make me feel slightly better about it: He diluted the bleach (somewhat), and he did it before he met me. In the meantime, to this day he’s waging a battle with his nose hair because he believes it’s trapping allergens that are aggravating his allergies because they’re staying trapped in his nose hair. His logic is telling him he’ll be far less susceptible to allergies without the nose hair and he refused to believe he’d be worse off without it. Someday he’ll be back in a doctor’s office causing facepalms again.
