Dispatched to local nursing home for fever with secondary of possible UTI. Arrived to find patient in bed under about 6 heavy blankets. Nursing staff stated patient fever was 98.8. Nursing staff said they “knew” it was a UTI because 6 months ago she had a fever and UTI. In ambulance patient said she felt fine and the only reason we were called was because the nursing staff was mad at her for ringing the help bell too many times.
