I brought my friend to the ER because he had a bad allergic reaction to a medicine. We arrive at 10, he gets taken back at about 1. I wait, and finally at 4 am, he walks out in hospital gown and tells me I should just go home because he hasn’t been seen yet. He says he spent the last 3 hours listening to a doctor try to convince an elderly woman that her CAT scan would in now way involve her cat, and the good health of her cat was in no way relevant.
